After graduating with a degree in Political Science (social policy) from the University of Bologna (Italy), in 2005 she took a further degree in social and welfare policy at the same university obtaining top marks. Thesis title: “International Adoption: a Meeting of Cultures”. In 2005-2006 she did a second level master in “Quality Assessment of Social and Health Services”.

Professional experience:

1985-2002: she worked as an educator and social worker at public and private agencies.
2002-present: expert operator at Emilia-Romagna Region’s Health and Social Policy Head Office in the Department for Childhood and Adolescence Family Policy.

Publications:

She has had publications about social issues and in particular child adoption in various newspapers and journals.
